Very consistent flavor. I recommend grinding light roasted whole beans and following the weight to cups ratio. Using the same coffee beans, the flavor using this machine is so much better than the percolator that I was previously using to brew coffee.It’s a very simple machine, with no additional features found in other coffee makers. But you don’t need any gimmicks on this one. It brews amazing coffee.The only real downside is that I’m drinking a lot more coffee… Because it tastes so good

I have tried at least 10 different coffee makers in my lifetime from Cuisinart to KitchenAid to Bunn and several others. This one is in a much higher class of design and execution for a drip coffee maker. Worth every penny. Amazon was the only place that had the rare red color still available.

You’ll also need great coffee itself too. 1960’s era aesthetic with modern quality components make up this brewer for most of us coffee connoisseurs that aren’t complete snobs. If you’re ready to step up from your college dorm days coffee maker, this is the way.

the unit has great styling, but little else.literally stopped working thirty days after use…buyer beware only thirty day refund policy, then you’re stuck returning this unit to the manufacturer for repairs.you’re better off getting a mr. coffee at walmart and returning it every time the heating element goes out.

The coffee pot is hard to put back on the plate. When you pour it ALWAYS dribbles on the counter. We’ve learned to use two hands, but for the money……….. we wanted no problems!

This handsome coffeemaker is well-built and makes the best at-home coffee I have ever had! It’s also very quiet and fast – It brews a full pot in about five minutes and you can barely hear anything. Simple to use, easy to clean. It does not have a pump (which is what dies on most coffee makers) instead the copper heating element rapidly heats the water and it rises up in a glass tube through the reservoir. Best of all, it’s not manufactured in China! It’s made by a family-owned business in the Netherlands that stands behind their products. My recommendation: grind your own coffee beans to a medium consistency. No large bean fragments, but you don’t want to grind it too fine either. This is a keeper!! Seriously folks, worth every penny!

The internal components of this system are top notch. It makes a great pot of coffee every time. It is fast, the coffee is hot and it makes my morning a happy time.But, the rest of the unit is made with cheap, poorly designed materials. The auto stop (so you can pour while brewing) only works about 50% of the time. The outer shell, the glass coffee pot itself and the external components are very cheaply made. The coffee pot has an issue pouring – it drips every time. Every cup of coffee includes a wipe down on the counter. There are plenty of coffee pots out there without that problem – you would think this is a simple issue to solve.Why in the world would you make such an excellent machine and then wrap it in cheap, thin plastic?
